Hello and Welcome! We would like to show each of you where we live here at Lit’l Bit of Heaven Schnauzer Farm, so we’d be please if you visit a few minutes and get to know us. Hammers and saws have been busy at work, turning a house into a home for Mama Patsi and an old metal building into a place we call The HIDE-A-AWAY, BUNGALOW, BABIES PLAYYARD, and THE NURSERY. We would like to share “The Before” pictures with you to see how we have progressed this past year. View pictures under each description.… Mama Patsi is now a “stay-at-home" Mom to us since February 2006. She spends her time, cleaning up after us..playing with us, on phone “Talking Schnauzers”, writing new articles for website, taking pictures of us constantly…. to gardening and delivering new Clan members, and family members for ALL OF YA”LL.. we’re not sure how she gave someone else besides us 45 hours a week of her time! We try to show her how glad we are that she spends her time with us. We are a tight happy bunch. We welcome all of ya’ll to our little piece of Heaven..just holler and drive on down. Thanks, The Clan, and of course Mama Patsi says Hello. Please view “before” and “after” pics of Mama’s Place and of Our Living Quarters..here. |

My oldest baby, Dillon has been a “grandfather” to 100 plus Schnauzers since 1990. He was 17 years old in December of 2004. Dillon has had lots of experience in voicing that “Schnauzer Growl” with the many litters born on my 5 acres at Lit’l Bit of Heaven, and now at my current location in Cypress. Using that growl, Dillon has kept everyone in line...can’t chase cats, squirrels are OK!!!! After the loss of my calico cat Toby of 21 years and putting my wishes on the back burner, I finally decided that I now would have "MY SCHNAUZER". Against the silent wishes of my husband, I ventured out on Sunday afternoon and returned with a bundle of hair with BIG ears. |

Dillon was bought on shoe string budget and a prayer and he has enriched my life more than I will ever be able to share with anyone. For the ones reading this who haven’t ever had a Schnauzer in your family, you must entertain the idea of adoption to be able to savor the best memories you will ever have with your new family member. Then and only then will you understand why a group of Schnauzer lovers can sit and talk for hours about “their” babies. After arriving with Dillon and calming the ruffled household feathers, everyone fell in love. We all agreed that he was everything! He was so smart and went everywhere with us. He even rode his own inner tube down the 6 hour river ride several times. With much softer hearts from all of Dillon’s doggie kisses”, as a family we started looking for Dillon a playmate. Let me mention here, that playmate is what am meaning, not a mate. We had Dillon neutered by the time Whatley’s Lit’l Bit came to live with us. |
| Dillon - Born Dec 27, 1988 Death - Dec 13, 2006 |
Dillon has had lots of experience in voicing that “Schnauzer Growl” of his with as many litters born on the 5 acres of Lit’l Bit of Heaven when we were located in Cut-n-Shoot Texas, then with our home in Cypress, TX and finally at our current location in Dime Box, TX. |
Within a year from Lit’l Bit’s arrival I was found to have a new disease. By that point the bug had bitten me, and the diagnosis was “Schnauzerism”. I had been told that the loving care and the tremendous passion I had for these two babies would make me a prime target for that diagnosis. So needless to say our Schnauzer family has grown, we are up to the current census of 104 paws at the time of this writing. People say that my Schnauzer family changes like the weather here in Houston. So come back and visit often to see what’s new in our nursery and on our puppy4sale page. And you never know the clan may have taken a vote for others to join our family. Please visit all the pages and if I can be of any help feel free to e-mail or call me. I can and do talk schnauzers at least 4 - 10 hours a day! Looking forward to our meeting in the future! You can read letters/emails from some of our adoptive families. |
