Next we have the small, but mighty, Pepper. Pepper is salt and pepper with lots of salt, and weighs 10.2lbs. He is very gentle and quiet until there is competition for the affections of the opposite sex. Then he becomes the roaring lion. He has produced several litters in 2004 and 2005, and has a lady friend at this current time. Pepper has 4 generations of champions on his end of pedigree with AKC.

Then we have Sabre, which is my oldest stud. He has beAugust 31, 2009 4:25 PMrs with my Shadow, our retired grandmother and with Lacey during that time. In 2005 he has won the affection of Lacey, Roxy and currently Sammi. He is my largest, therefore females that range in the 14lbs & up are well serviced by him. His registered name is Whatley’s Black Moon Rising. He is as fast as lightning and carries himself well on his 16.2lb frame. Therefore, the first time after he was up and running he was so quick and sharp like a tack that I started calling him Sabre instead Moon. He has a broad head, thick shoulders with lots of muscle in his legs. Sabre is super with the ladies, and shall we say…he knows exactly what he’s doing, and how to be very persuasive with the ladies. I have people wanting to try Sabre for stud after missing a season by using another stud, and female did not conceive. Sabre has never been known to fail!

Black Tie looks as if he is “going out on the town”, in a tuxedo due to how he is marked. Black Tie is offspring of Tiny Tink Toy and Rhett Butler from Tiny Tink’s 1 st litter. He is extremely sweet, very calm, a bit on the shy side. Hopefully he will win he affections of the Jewels on The Farm when he comes of age. I expect to be able to downsize using him as stud for some of the larger females. His father is 7.2lbs, and grandfather is only 4.4lbs. Therefore he does carry the toy trait.

WHATLEY'S SNOWY MCTAVISH

McTavish is snowy white, therefore the name fit him like a glove. A special name, for a special fellow.

In summer of 2005 I took an evening drive to visit with another breeder to do a bit of bartering in hopes to get a female from their line to add to my Schnauzer Clan.

Mr. Smith had all black, and all whites to offer, and therefore I really wanted a white female that would be smaller than 12lbs full grown. As all these black and white bodies ran toward me in the yard, my heart and eyes kept focused on a special baby. He had such energy, such sweetness, and ran straight for me! I only hoped it would be a female…but NO it was a male, and of course he would also be much larger in size than what I needed to add to the Clan.

As the minutes ticked by, and it became dark, I asked Mr. Smith to remove “that male” that was pulling at my heartstrings. He took him in the house, but within minutes, I just knew that he had to go home with me!

He cuddled in my arms for the long ride home, and his coat felt like a fur blanket. As you can see he has a wonderful, full, full white coat. We are looking forward to him breeding with some of our larger girls, such as Sammi, Milan , maybe Roxy, and even Lacey in the future. Meet "The Dude"

Nancy and Forrest Goodell from Houston, TX adopted a female puppy from Shadow and Sabre’s first litter. They named her Gigi. My Rhett Butler and Gigi have mated 4 times. A couple of litters ago

The Dude was born and Nancy and Forrest decided he was so special they would have to keep him as part if the family. The Dude is not the normal toy size that Rhett and Gigi have produce with other puppies. The miniature gene from grandmother Shadow and Grandfather, Sabre has shown thru. You can see so much of Shadow in The Dude’s the sweet temperament, and the coloring as his grandmother and mother have. And of his stance when viewing him he reminds all of us of his Grandfather,  Sabre. He has the same regal head as Sabre. We look forward to using him as stud here on The Farm in the future. Whatley’s Bristol  Parti Toy  Boy

Bristol is a CKC toy which arrived at Dime Box weekend of June 4, 2006 at 9 weeks of age. Being a salt-n-peper parti male and small mini he is a great addition to our Schnauzer Clan. With Bristol coloring we are looking forward to mating him with especially Tiny Tink which also has parti in her back ground. Hopefully we will receive parti pups from their mating. Then it will be great to see what when mated with someone with a white back ground what he might throw. Bristols brother Biskit has not matured at the rate of Bristol has. So way to go Bristol..our newest stud.

Scampi is a male puppy from Sterling and Rhett Butler that was born April 28, 2006. He comes from toy parents..but has some of his grandparents genes to be a bit larger than his 7-9lb parents. Scampi probably weighs around 13-14lbs, stock frame..and doesn’t look like he weighs that much..but is so muscle bound from running his lush back yard, darting in and out of all the shrubbery.
Scampi traveled to Houston with me as an 8 week old pup to meet with a prospective family for him, when my Aunt Frances that lives in Willowbend area of Houston, came to have breakfast with my brother and I and pick up a Siamese kitten I was bringing her. I went to show the kitten to her and had the new male puppy in my hand as well… her response was you can put both of them in my car.

I was shocked but delighted that Aunt Frances would have one of Lit’l Bit of Heaven babies as a new family member. Scampi has a wonderful home and a huge play area and loves to do yard work with his new Mama.. Frances James. Now adding to his talents he is now a “Papa Daddy”. Timing was “just right” when he was on a vacation here at The Farm, and fell in love with Miss Tee. Their puppies were born October of 2007.

Whatley’s Quick Toy Biskit

Biskit will definitely be able to give Rhett Butler a “run for his money” with the toy girls. Biskit, being much smaller in size weighing 7.0lbs at 1 year , and cute as a button. By adding Biskit’s light coloring to Sassy which carries the white gene, we hope that we will be able to produce white and possibly parti puppies. Adding Biskits creamy color to the matings of all of the darker coated Jewles should give us a wide range of colors for families to choose from. Biskit like his brother Bristol will also carry the Parti Gene. Therefore if mated with the gal that has the “right” combination we could have parti babies, either salt-n-pepper parti or white with black parti babies. Biskit is about half the size of his brother Bristol, but has made head way with winning the affections of Sassy March of 2007. We look forward to their litter June 2007.

Midnight came to us in the Fall of 2007. He was owned by another Schnauzer breeder that passed away. Due to an accident after breeding with Sassy, Midnight died. It was a great loss to us here on The Farm. He had such a wonderful calm personality and so true to his name LUVABLE!

All the borderline toy gals and miniatures Mamas are ready for this handsome Liver Parti kinda guy. Porter has a very regal head and wonderful soft coat and beautiful liver markings with a very dark liver topping. Still a bit shy and all the Gals here are running him ragged. But I know in time he will understand how handsome he is and get the big head. He is a bit big for all of the toy parti gals and Josie the beautiful smaller liver toy gal, but I know that with Tiny Tink, Haley, and Allie we should have some great color combinations and super babies. Porter came to us from “Heart’s Are Wild” breeding line and a few generations back “Music Maker’s Bronze Dream” was a great grandfather.

Whatley’s “Tuxedo” Kinda Cool Guy

In September, 2007 Tuxedo became one of the teens that joined our family all in the same week. All of his sister’s wanted to come too, so all The Clan said well what’s 4 more, more the merrier. Although as you can see Tux is solid black, but comes from MUSIC MARKER’S line, ”Cinamon Swirl” and “Gone With The Wind” of Liver and Tan and Liver Parti’s.  He took his coloring from his Mother Minnie’s Little Pup and all of the Dad’s side has liver and tan and liver parti making his Dad “Paps Little Rascal” liver and tan.

His cute carefree way will make him a lover with the gals here on The Farm. We are waiting on the season of Josie, which is a beautiful dark liver. She is a bit smaller than he is now. Both, Josie and Tuxedo are in 6-7.5 lb range at 7 months old.  Later on we will be considering mating Taffy which is a 3 year old Liver Parti Gal with Tuxedo as well. Since having the parti gene he can also mate with Tiny Tink which will throw white and black parti’s with him, as well as his black shining coat. And we may be surprised to also find out that they may be parents of parti liver. So the possibilities go on and on as to who will win his heart over in due time. We’re “Branching Out” here on The Farm!

This summer I decided to add new AKC registered colors to our old stand by’s such as salt-n-pepper, black and black and silver. Our first choice in adding new colors was a liver male..so we’d like ya’ll to meet.

Bama was born in Georgia at The McDaniel’s. While visiting in Alabama in August 2007 I saw this cute bundle of energy and just knew he had to be a member of Lit’l Bit of Heaven’s Schnauzer family.  We look forward to breeding him with parti liver girls as well as a dark chocolate gal. But in the time before he grows from a teen to a gentleman he will be keeping Shadow company in our king-size bed. Since Dillon died in December of 2006 Shadow has been depressed and started having health issues. We are proud to say that the energy of Bama has brought life to my retired Grandma Shadow.

BENTLY LITTLE MAN

The Gentlemen here on The Farm knew as soon as Bently put his feet on Dime Box soil that they had a race to run with Bently for the affections of all of the Jewels. Bently has a great background of colors from BLAIRS as well as ALPAT’S line. So he is able to throw white, black with white markings, liver, liver and tan, and of course parti. This 9 lb black parti guy is giving the studs here on The Farm a run for their money for sure.

Within his first two weeks here he had a love affair with Crissy and following up with Sugar. In the future we look forward to introducing him to Tiny Tink which has parti in her line and will breed him with Miss Pris, due to both are small and boxed. He will be dual registered with AKC and CKC as time goes on.
