When the news got out that Shadow was going to become just grandmother, and would never have another litter I received much disappointment. Time and again I would hear "Oh! how horrible there’s not going to be anymore of Shadow’s babies". I would smile, and say of course there are. Lacey her daughter, then Lacey’s daughter, Roxy, and then on down the line will have wonderful babies. In each puppy there will be Shadow sweetness, and Sabre quick, and smart moves. It’s wonderful to have a mating pair, which will continue to produce offspring as wonderful as their parents.

Here is Lexington Animal Hospital, the peolpe who take care of all our babies. Meet our Vet and Techs.

Our oldest lady arrived as a new born. Her name is Whatley’s Lacey Girl. She is a Shadow baby from her first litter. Since retiring Shadow from the Motherhood Role, Lacey has done an excellent job in filling her mother’s shoes. She and Sabre have produced beautiful, healthy active puppies since 2002. Dozens of people have told me that Shadow has to be the sweetest Schnauzer living, and her babies have given such joy to dozens of families.

Lacy's beautiful daughter Roxy is actually smaller than her mother. Her weight ranges from 8.7oz to 9lbs. Lacey is several pounds heavier. Roxy has a dark salt and pepper coat with silver saddlebags that are predominate when her coat is longer.

Roxy has paired up with Pepper, and produced from 2-5 puppies each litter, and Sabre just once, but will plan on mating her with a smaller male instead of Sabre in the future, due to her having a C-Section.

We look forward to introduction to Black Tie and McTavish for future mating.

Tara and Xmas baby

Tara and Missy are sisters. They came as 8 week old pups to Lit’l Bit of Heaven. They truly have been a wonderful addition to our family. The expression “different than daylight and dark”, pretty much describes them. As you can see in the pictures one took after her father, and one after her mother, so they look so very different.

Both are excellent mothers. Tara has produced in her first litter, toys in the 8-10lb range. Next litter the female puppy, Ellie, at 6 ½ weeks weighed less than 1 1/2lbs. We expect at maturity for her weight to be less than 8lbs. In the future Pepper will have to share her affections with Black Tie and possibly McTavish.

Then we have Missy, who when mated with Rhett (which is also a toy) have produced litters that are around 7-8 lbs at maturity. Due to Missy’s smaller size we made the decision to have Missy’s ears cropped. Whereas we left Tara’s ears natural.

After Missy's first litter she has not conceived. We are disappointed, but will leave the "results" to God and let nature be what it will be. We will continue to introduce Rhett and Missy hoping that those adorable tiny toys are born.

What a great personality in Haley! She never complains about anything. Not even when she had her 1st litter, not a sound. Finally took her for a “C” section which produced 3 puppies. She had so much nourishment I begin to call them “piggy”. They were so fat that their tiny feet had trouble getting their bottoms up to walk. Now in their new family they have lots of activities to trim their waist line down. Haley is such a sweet mother and has had litter also with Sabre that produced 2 males.

Whatley's Milan Jet 300x408

Whatley's Milan Jet joined our family at 6 weeks of age from a family in Houston, TX. She has produce a litter with Pepper, and between Milan very ALPHA personality and Pepper's very calm personality, we had 7 beautiful babies. The puppies coloring ranged from black and black and white to salt-n-pepper.

Milan season seems to run differently than normal so we plan on having a litter ever two years with her. She will plan on starting out the year 2006 with a litter of puppies in January or February. Our plans are to introduce her to a new fellow.our chose may range from Sabre, Black Tie, McTavish in the future.

With a mind of her own, Sammi is a strong lady and a will to get what she wants. She is also very creative with her playing. We look forward not only mating her with Pepper but with some or all of the rest of the gentlemen in the future. One of my original adoptive family’s had moved away from Texas, purchased her as a mate to the male they adopted from Lit’l Bit 10 years ago. They were unable to keep her so at 8 months she came to live with all the clan at Lit’l Bit of Heaven.

Whatley's Tiny Tink Toy In Rocker

We have a very sweet and sassy toy in Tiny Tink. She is fast as a lightning bolt, and as sweet as ice cream. She had her first litter in February of 2005. Her and Rhett produced Toys that were coal black with white boots, beard, and breast bone white all the way to their tummy. Tiny Tink’s father, PEANUT is from Miranda Farms, in Alvin, TX . He only weighed 4lbs 4 oz, and is a silver and white partly So when he mated with Tinkerbell a solid white, and a much larger female ranging upwards of 15lbs, they reproduce this bundle of energy. So somewhere the black gene was very predominate. Tink Tink’s siblings were all black with white breast bone.

Tiny Tink and Pepper gave us quiet a surprise in July 2005, they produced two WHITE males; so now we know that since both carry the white gene we will possibly get white in the future matings. That was the first white litter that I have ever produced. She has 5 puppies, 2 blacks, 1 salt & pepper, and 2 white pups.

Miss Priss sitting on purple clouds

Miss Pris came as a 7 week old puppy to The Farm. She was the pick of the litter from artificial insemination between Rhett Butler and Bella a female from Giddings, TX. As you can see Miss Pris is in the toy range weighing less than 8lbs. She has a beautiful full coat with long feathers. In July of 2005 line breeding produced 2 beautiful males. We look forward to her breeding with some of our other Gentlemen in the future.

Whatley’s Piper Sterling is a pic of litter from the breeding of GIGI and Rhett Butler first mating. GIGI owners are Nancy and Forrest Goodell of Spring Branch in Houston area. GIGI is from my original line of 16 yrs ago…GREAT STOCK! Sterling is black (slate) and silver and is a great mix of her platinum silver Mother and black Dad. Sterling is built like her dad, Rhett, smaller than her mother. In September 2005 thru line breeding Sterling produced 1 toy male, which probably will be 8-9lbs full grown. She is an attentive mother and it was a great experience for this tiny toy.

Jazz Babe became a member of the Clan here at Lit'l Bit of Heaven after a breeder in Louisiana contacted me, and was impressed with a male puppy from Tara & Pepper. Mrs Fontenot asked would I be willing to do an exchange for a female and give her my male. So she named her male Schnapps, and when we got our little bundle of silver we named her Jazz Babe. The current adult pictures of Jazz Babe shows her coat taken down. During our move to Dime Box she and Prissy got into a bit of construction material, and it was easier for them to take their coat down, and keep Jazz Babe from any discomfort having to de-matte her. We look forward to having litters with all of our smaller guys such as Pepper and Rhett Butler. She is due to have her first litter Nov/Dec of 2005, with Pepper.

What bundle of energy Sassy Britches is! She earns daily her name. Growing up to look just like her mother GIGI. Sassy was born from GIGI and Rhett Butler’s 2nd mating. I had on pick of the litter to be the smallest, darkest female, but once I saw this silver beauty, I just knew she had to be part of The Clan, hoping that she’d soon look like her mother.

GIGI was suppose to be a full time member of The Clan, but the night GIGI was born I had meet Nancy and Forrest Goodell at a church meeting. Hearing of their passion for the Schnauzer Breed, I just knew they would be perfect parents for that baby. So I have been waiting to finally have “my GIGI”, and now can see that happening as Sassy Britches has grown to look just like her mother. So much so that even Nancy thought that current pics of Sassy were pics I had taken of GIGI.

I just know all of the Gentlemen at The Farm will be playing up for this feisty gal.

Meet…GiGi’s baby girl  MARLEE

Marlee, which will be a toy is new addition coming from mating of GiGi and Rhett 10-25-05.

I am so proud to now have all these sisters. Sterling, the smallest sister came first..from Gigi & Rhett’s first litter, next was Sassy, and now Marlee. And as of July 2006 we will be adding Lucci as soon as she is old enough to join us. Gigi and Rhett had another wonderful smaller litter of 3…1 male and 2 females May 20, 2006.

Possibly I will be line breeding Rhett with Marlee in the future. AKC asked me to line breed when conditions were “right” to increase the line. She will have future mating some time in 2007 with Black Tie as well. Please visit often to see who these Teens will breed with. At the time the Girls start to breed they will be moved to Jewels Section of The Farm. Thanks for visiting with us..Go to PHOTOS to see all of the upcoming litters announcements, and see pictures of current babies up for adoption.

Meet Tori

One of “THE TWINS”

In October 2005, Sammi and Sabre were mated for the very first time..and The Clan took a vote that two of the females should join our group. They are registered as CKC.  Choosing their names were easy. I wanted them short and sweet, and to be alike due to the girls look like twins, one a little larger, but twins none the less. Therefore I soon came up with JADI- which is the alpha one, and TORI the more laid back of the two.

Tori has now become a Jewel in September 2006. She and The Dude have paired up. The Dude is a puppy from Rhett Butler and Shadow’s GiGi from her very first litter. Tori is still under 11 lbs and bred with The Dude she could throw her size as well as small miniatures.
We look forward in future breeding to Rhett Butler to downsize Tori.. Her sweet temperament and The Dude great look will produce beautiful puppies, and with Rhett what great toys…..whatever the choice maybe..we just know the babies will be wonderful.

Tiger Lily is a puppy from Whatley’s Lacey Girl and Gibson’s Black Moon Rising which is fondly called Sabre. Tiger Lily was born to this mating pair April 24, 2006, and now has come thru the ranks of being one of our Teens and now to The Jewels. We look forward to her sweet personality and salt-n-pepper coloring to add many assets back into the original line from Lit’l Bit of Heaven way back to 1987.

Look for her soon to be on the Adoption page with lots of babies for wonderful families. We will plan on line breeding her with Sabre, and then also to Rhett to down size her off spring somewhat to maybe even Biscuit  to down size her babies a bit too.

Blau Blitzer is what we call her..a strange name yes we know. Story behind her name is that she came from Blue, TX and never wants to go back there .Due to her history we decided to name her and her sister with the name BLUE. I was told that Blau Blitze is Blue in German. Whether that holds any truth or not..we really don’t care. A special gal… with a special name. We are glad she is a part of our family here as well as her sister Whatley’s Baby Blue. Both girls are considered in toy range, As you will notice when meeting them, that their bodies are small and their ears are BIG..just adds personality to these shy sweet girls.

Baby Blue Moon and her sister Blau Blister is a special pair. They came to us from a “hobby breeder” that wasn’t as caring as they should have been with these special girls. We are so proud to have them as part of our family here on The Farm.  As you can see the pictures show Baby Blue as she is already expecting her first litter October of 2007. We did not take pics of her in the beginning after she came to us at 1 ½ years old for two reasons. The first one was to wait on enough time for them to settle in here on The Farm before seeing if they wanted to be Mamas on the Jewels section of our website. Then second we were making the decision to change their appearance by having their very large ears cropped. But after getting to know these SWEET gals we love them just the way they are. Baby Blue has a very small frame and ears that reach for the heavens. But we love her and you will too.

So we are so happy to announce that Blau Blister and Baby Blue will have litters at the same time fall of 2007. Both are in small toy range of 7lbs so they will always be paired with our smaller gentlemen.

Ryli is a daughter from Sabre’s mating with Laura Wiggins’ KeKe from Somerville, TX. We chose this cute bundle to be a part of The Clan instead of stud fee for Sabre services. KeKe is on the smaller side of miniature and Ryli was the smallest of the litter so we will just have to wait to see what she matures at as far as weight. But her personality has already formed and she fits in like a glove on a hand here at The Farm.

She was born  December 2006 and has been with us since she was 6 weeks and has learned all the do’s and don’t of living here with The Clan..and what a joy she is. We look forward to her maturity and mating with some of our fellows, that are on the smaller side, maybe Rhett, and surely Biskit, and even Black Tie might go into the running for her affections. Keep in touch to see what beautiful babies she’ll produce her at Lit’l Bit of Heaven. Our World Is Changing

We welcome Cleo Petra as she makes changes in our family..adding another dimension of color..BLACK PARTI. Parti colors are now accepted with all clubs, AKC, CKC, etc. Petra has a very nice coat and wonderful black markings (parti) on top of a white coat. She came to us as a five year old seasoned Gal from a small town outside of Corpus Christi, TX.

As we now have begun to add new colors to our original line that started with salt-n-Pepper in 1977, we are glad to have Petra leading all the other Parti additions that we now have that are just puppies. We look forward to breeding her with Black Tie, and Bristol Parti Boy, which is a salt-n-pepper parti. Since Black Tie grandfather is Peanut from Miranda Farms, he will carry for parti gene. Therefore just maybe we will have a whole litter of parti babies thru using both studs in the future breeding.

We are growing with all of our new teen additions and branching out with all new colors to be able to offer families more of a variety of colors in this wonderful breed. We will be offering the regular colors such as salt-n-pepper, black, black and silver, black with white markings, pure white. And now the new colors we have added are Black Parti, Salt-n-Pepper Parti, Liver and Liver Parti as well as White Chocolate.

Please visit back often and view the Teens and Jewels and Gentlemen section under THE FARM to see who is the “new kid on the block”.

Thanks for visiting with us, and I hope that we get the opportunity to help you with an adoption of a wonderful addition to your family.

Whatley’s Romayor Black Beauty

All The Clan here on The Farm are glad to have this “black beauty” to join us on The Farm when she was 8 weeks old.  Beauty’s solid liver sister Josie and Beauty came to live with us from Romayor, TX. They carry the Music Maker’s line of Janice Edwards as well as Swan Lake’s line of Noel and Gregg Owen.

We are very excited about the possibilities that are available in quality puppies being produced from Beauty and Porter. Porter is a very striking liver parti male and was also born a few days early than Beauty and Josie. I had bought Porter to be able to mate Josie to Porter when the time comes. Josie is going to be of the toy size around 6-7.5 lbs. Therefore we were a bit disappointed when Porter out grew Josie. Beauty and Porter kept growing and are now to be borderline toys-miniatures.

After reviewing the pedigrees of both of these wonderful pair we are extremely excited about their first mating that we will be planning on when the time is right. As you can see by Beauty pictures her eyes have brown tone as well as her beautiful long flowing furnishings. Therefore easy to tell she also has the liver gene even if you didn't know her sister, Josie was liver. Beauty carries white, black. liver and liver parti, salt-n-pepper as well as black and silver gene. We hardly can wait as times goes by as to all of the possibilities with breeding her with several of our studs here at Lit’l Bit of Heaven as the years go by.

Whatley’s Carmel “Josie” Toy

Josie came to us with her sister Black Beauty at the age of eight weeks old in September 2007. The contrast in coloring and size of each of these two beauties made it a definite as soon as we saw them. We knew they had to join all The Clan here on The Farm. Josie is much smaller in toy range whereas Beauty a striking black gal is borderline toy at 7 months. Josie carries the Music Maker’s line of Janice Edwards in which she received her liver coloring as well as Swan Lake’s line of Noel and Gregg Owen which throws all of the colors including liver.

But we will be looking for a smaller liver parti male to mate Joise with. If the time comes I know that Tuxedo will give Rhett Butler a run for his money in winning the affections of the toy baby girl. Of course even thou Biscuit is CKC he would be a great choice as well, in throwing parti’s and whites. Josie has beautiful white boots and lots of white on her chest.

Joise carries white, black. liver and liver parti, salt-n-pepper as well as black and silver gene. We hardly can wait as times goes by as to all of the possibilities with breeding her with several of our studs here at Lit’l Bit of Heaven as the years go by.

Just N Candys Taffy

Taffy was an addition to our Schnauzer Clan here at Lit’l Bit of Heaven in September 2007. She was bred by Melanie Dodson and we purchase Taffy from a show breeder of Schnauzers, Sharon Hamilton from Victoria, TX. Taffy is considered a Liver Parti Color and is registered with AKC. On liver colored Schnauzer their noses are brown instead of black and their skin is pink and their eyes have a greenish tint.  Liver is what some people call Chocolate. She weighs 8 lbs even, and we are looking to be able to breed her in January of 2008.

Future breeding with be with Tuxedo, a black male that carries the parti gene as well. Then of coarse Hershey Bama Boy will be a boyfriend for sure. Bama Boy is solid liver with creamy liver color on his legs. He weighs just a pound or so more than Taffy does.

Black Tie may also show up in the choices of a mate for Taffy due to he has the white gene and the parti gene coming from his Mother, Tiny Tink.

Baby Girl was the largest Gal of three out of Tiger Lily and Sabre’s March litter of 2007. She was to go to a wonderful home in Houston, but due to flooding of their home her departure was delayed. As the days turned into weeks the two sisters were so bonded that when they were running and playing their heads turned the same way at the same time. So after repairs of her new family’s home had been done, and it was time for her to leave..we just couldn’t stand for her to go. Baby Girl and Lucci would have had a rough time settling in without being together. So they are here to stay on The Farm. Be looking in 2008 for them to be bred with one of our toy guys.

Sugar is a six pound bundle of energy. Her salt-n-pepper coat flows thru the wind as she makes her daily rounds checking into everyone’s business. We are glad to have her come September 2007S from Victoria to live here with all the Jewels and Gentlemen on The Farm. It seemed that everyone thought Mama Patsi had lost her mind when letting “this puppy” roam in the Big Kids play yard..she even over a year later still looks like a 16 week old mini.

She is so small that she will only be bred with Rhett Butler, Tuxedo and our new stud Bently.
Stay TUNED for what is in store for her..

PLEASE WELCOME
To the Jewels from our Teens

Patsi’s “Lucci” Doll

DOB: 3-20-07
AKC Registration

Tiger Lily
&
Whatley’s Black Moon Rising (Sabre)
Daughter

Lucci Doll and her sister Baby Girl were so bonded after staying here longer while waiting to go to their new homes, that once their new family wasn’t able to take them..we just couldn’t bear to have them separated and go to different homes. So they were added to all the Teens. We do plan on breeding them to one our toy and borderline mini guys when the time is right. So be looking for their announcements for upcoming litter in 2008.

Lucci first mating happened in October of 2008 and now is mama to Black Tie’s three babies as of December 2008. Her sweet calm temperament and Black Tie’s very gentlemen ways these 3 off spring should be a hit as a new member of any family.

WHATLEY’S FOXY PARTI LADY

AKC TOY Black Parti Female
DOB July 23, 2007
Weighing 8lbs 4 oz at 14 months old

Foxy was the 5th Parti Gal to join our Clan here on The Farm in September of 2007. Foxy and Porter both came from the same breeder outside of Livingston, TX. Sheffield’s line of Heart’s Are Wild. Foxy’s parti pedigree is mostly holds thru with black so hopefully she will be able to throw solid whites when matted with someone with a white background as well as having black parti’s. We look forward as the years go by mating her with different males to see what all colors she might throw..such as mating her with Bently that has liver parti in his pedigree.

Please visit back to see how she matures. We will be mating her with, and Rhett Butler, Bently and possibly Bama Boy or Porter in the future.

Meet Fast as Lightning

Whatley’s Teeny Tazz Gal

AKC TOY
DOB July 23, 2007
7month old weight 5.5 lbs.

Teeny Tazz came to The Farm in September along with her other 4 siblings. There are one black male, and two black parti girl and then Tazz. Teeny Tazz is Black and Silver, thin framed gal that runs like a “streaker” and loves Mama Patsi to death. She always wants to be wherever I am and from building to building if door opens there she is first in. Being a teen I still have not trained her that is not Mama Patsi’s WAY..you must wait to be invited in. The week that I had my back and neck injury I had purchased 4 new babies from a breeder in Ganado, TX. I had wanted to add smaller toys to the line and in hopes that these would help fill that “want’, they came to live with us. They have a nice pedigree from Walton’s Country Singn Jackson, well as Music Maker’s Gone with the Wind, Cinamon Swirl, Lady in Red.

Looking forward to seeing the grown size at 7-10 months of age. We are expecting them to be less than 7 lbs. So please be checking back in Summer of 2008 to see how they have matured. Sibling are: Whatley’s “Crissy” Black Diamond, Whatley’s Dusk to Dawn Parti, Whatley’s Kaci Black Parti Gal, Whatley’s Tuxedo Kinda Cool Guy…Keep in touch to see what additions to The farm as they become adult.

CLOIE JANE II

“SPANKY”
8lbs 3 ozs.
DOB: June 6, 2003
AKC

Spanky came to The Farm thru a connection from a Horse Man that is a Hobby Breeder of Schnauzers, due to his love for the breed. Reggie thought that Spanky would have a great time and a good life here in Dime Box with all of the other Jewels and Gents. So Reggie and I did a bit of “horse trading” for me to obtain this beauty.

She has black, black with white markings, white spotted, white with black markings, and salt-n-pepper within the last three generations

She is considered an AKC black parti female in the range of 8lbs, and a few ounces. I will be breeding her with Black Tie in the future and also with Bently which also came from her former owner Reggie from Cat Springs area. I was told that she is a great Mama and I certainly am looking forward to lots of time with this loving little gal.

She has fit in just like a 2nd glove her with all of the Jewles they accepted her as family from the very first day.
