Here's testimonials from some of our loving adoptive families. We have a new page dedicated to Schnauzer Rescue. |
In 2003 Kim Van Landing Ham, Patsi's brother, designed and maintained this website until October 2008 when health issues did not afford him to devote anymore time to Lit'l Bit of Heaven Schnauzer Farm.

VERY IMPORTANT |
WARNING - DO NOT USE COCOA MULCH IF YOU OWN PETSVerified by Snopes and also VERIFIED ALSO BY GOOGLE. Yesterday one of our dog agility friends experienced a tragedy and wanted me to pass a special message along to all of my dog loving friends and family. Please tell every dog owner you know. This site gives the following information: Cocoa Mulch, which is sold by Home Depot, Foreman's Garden Supply and other Garden supply stores, contains a lethal ingredient called "Theobromine". It is lethal to dogs and cats. It smells like chocolate and it really attracts dogs. They will ingest this stuff and die. Several deaths already occurred in the last 2-3 weeks. Just a word of caution, check what you are using in your gardens and be aware of what your gardeners are using in your gardens. Please email the manufacturer at michellemessick@hersheys.com and request that accurate information about this product be posted on the packaging to avoid further tragedy. |

April 2007, Dear Schnauzer Lovers: Time has begun to lessen the loss and pain I have felt since December. So I am now able to include in our website the news of Dillon’s death. I have shared with everyone what a joy Dillon has been and now share with you what he will always mean to me in heart cherished memories. I did send out to family and friends and Schnauzer families that had been to The Farm to visit with Dillon an announcement on the day that he died, December 13, 2006. I would like to include it now in our website for all of you to know that you too can have such joy in your life by the love of a special canine family member. Dillon, my precious pet, and companion past away early morning hours of December 13, 2006, He came to live with me when he was 12 weeks old and has loved me unconditional for almost 21 years. His 21st Birthday would have been on December 27, 2006. In my heart and mind I know that God carried Dillon to be with Him. I rejoice in knowing that he knew he was loved by hundreds… family, friends and all of my extended Schnauzer Family. His last day was with me carrying him on his pillow from room to room where he could watch me groom and take pictures of puppies and then to computer room to e-mail clients. Being loved by Dillon has been one of the largest blessings of my life. I will miss him more than I can express. The comfort he has given me and loving me and cuddling with me thru bad emotional times in my life all of these 21 years. I pray that his passing was smooth and painless. I look forward to being with Dillon again when God comes for me. Cherish who you love and express those feelings Always, Patsi |
