Mama’s and Babies Play Yard

As I step out of the back door of the little Big House I am now in the babies play yard. There is a glass pane door off the kitchen and also a window from the nursery that looks out onto the yard. I am able to keep an eye on all activites while inside the little big house. The Mama’s and all the babies come out the door from Bungalow, straight out their area to eat, learn potty training, and play..play..play. They seem to enjoy the challenge of learning to climb a few steps, and climbing backwards up the slide.

Shade is provided by a large umbrella. It is a challenge for me to keep the umbrella working properly here in windy Dime Box. Living in city/Cypress, we didn’t have breezes like these before moving to Dime Box. In September 2006, wehave now added a tree that will grow to be a larger shade tree in a few years.

The Clan, Mama’s and babies love it here in the country air.

Thanks for visiting the site. Please sign the guestbook and let us know how we might help you or holler and come on down for some of our “country air’.

Fall Brings New Improvements to The Farm

The crisp weather of fall promoted us to get busy here at the Farm.  We have worked on improving the picket fenced yard of the Bungalow with a totally private wood fence similar to the fence we already had installed for the Hideaway Play Yard in Spring of 2005 when we moved here. Our fencing needed to be improved, for the safety of the Mama’s and babies…...just waiting for the “right” time. The fall was the perfect time for making that decision to improve the fencing. All my Jewels decided to come into season at the same time..making this a very busy season.   If all our couples conceive the Bungalow play yard will be busy and active with lots of potty training, and playing with all the new litters that are expected in November and December 2006. We’d like to share pictures of the progress we are making on The Farm..hopefully things will always continue to improve for safety and the happiness of all of Lit’l Bit of Heaven Schnauzer babies in the future.

Last winter we added  additional heat to the nursery in the main house, and with the heat of summer we made the decisioAugust 31, 2009 4:33 PMut the old wiring. We have loved the new addition of the full glass door leading into the nursery off the kitchen of the main house. The glass door  replaced the  original wood door that  was in this 1940’s home. We are finding that our nursery needs the walls knocked down and made bigger..time will tell..what’s in the future here at The farm..visit our site often to see what changes and additions we have made here on out little piece of heaven..

Thanks,

Patsi
